How to protect and ship a jersey match
A jersey match is a one-of-one in practice: there is no replacing it. Here is what to keep it in, and how sellers ship cards safely. Each link opens an Amazon search filtered to 4 stars and up, cheapest first.

Storing a card
The usual setup is a penny sleeve inside a toploader for most cards, or a magnetic one-touch for display. Thick cards (patches, autographs) need a thicker holder: check the card's thickness in points (pt) before you buy.
Shipping a card you sold
For a single card, sleeve and toploader it, add a team bag, and sandwich it between protectors (Ding Defenders or cardboard) in a rigid envelope. Cards under eBay's weight and thickness limits can go by eBay Standard Envelope; a scale that reads ounces and a 4x6 label printer make it quick.
